Originally from Crystal City, MB, Canada, I graduated from the University of Manitoba with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, majoring in Ceramics. After the birth of my children, I paused my pottery practice due to limited time and studio space. But on a whim in late 2022, I decided to rent a pottery wheel and create in my garage. I haven't stopped since! I now have a home studio that is equally as messy as it is beautiful, bringing me so much joy.
My work aims to capture the innocent, abundant joy that children so readily embrace, while also acknowledging the capacity for both light and dark within us all.
