Northern Lights Mug

I grew up on a farm in the middle of the Canadian Prairies, far from any light pollution. Seeing the Northern Lights was not an uncommon experience. But no matter how often I saw them they never ceased to fill me with awe, and to bring me into a world beyond this one. 

This mug is hand thrown on a pottery wheel. It is glazed with a combination of pink, green, purple and yellow on the outside and a matte black on the inside. It is microwave and dishwasher safe.
